Linkedin caught copying the clipboard on every singly keystroke on iOS app. The issue is discovered in iOS 14 beta version. This intrusive behaviour of the Linkedin iOS app is discovered by a developer who goes with the twitter handle @DonCubed.
Basically there is an upgrade to the iOS14 version in which iOS14 gives a notification every time an app or widget reads the clipboard text.
LinkedIn is copying the contents of my clipboard every keystroke. IOS 14 allows users to see each paste notification.
I’m on an IPad Pro and it’s copying from the clipboard of my MacBook Pro.
Tik tok just got called out for this exact reason. pic.twitter.com/l6NIT8ixEF

LinkedIn’s consumer products’ VP Engineering Erran Berger replied that reading clipboard feature is not intended one and claimed to be a bug, he further added that “the contents of the clipboard are not stored or transmitted. A fix for the issue is in the works, and should be available soon.”
He further added the same example is in their open source library and said that fix can be find there. He also said that they will follow up this once this issue is fixed in the live app.
